   I owe a great deal of thanks to Bob Winski for finding this truly remarkable dog for me.I have been working with Elka for eight years now and have achieved titles in both obedience and agility.She has been tested for temperment and herding instinct and passed both tests with ease and very positive remarks from the evaluators.She earned her CD with high scores and a placement at the german shepherd nationals.She has just finished her novice agility standard preferred title by qualifying at last years nationals on both days.She qualified on day one and placed first in her class on day two.She has just finished her third leg with a qualifying score and a first place.We are now ready to move up to the open class and will be competing at the german shepherd nationals next year in North Carolina.This dog has been a dream to work with.She has the high drive and stamina to get the job done and the conformation to give the observer a picture of grace and beauty.We recieved our BH title under the judge,Ann Marie Chaffin along with a very nice complement.She remarked that" as a team we were a pleasure to watch."This is exactly the type of dog I was looking for and Bob had the foresight to see what could be when he found her for me.She can be a high competitor in the ring but also a gentle companion and has been selected by Yale New Haven Hospital to be one of their therapy dogs in the pet visitation program.I am very proud of her and thankful to be able to share in her accomplishments.Thanks Bob.
